Our Story

Brighter Way is a 501c.3 nonprofit located in Chattanooga, TN. It was started by people who know the toll that mental illness and chronic pain can take and see a need for support in underserved populations.

Brighter Way will push forward research establishing best-practice treatment protocols and create a standard of care that can be adopted worldwide. We seek to provide financial support for care that, in many instances, is not covered by third party payment. We collaborate with partners who share our belief that quality and effective care is for all humans, not only those who can afford it.

Brighter Way believes it is our responsibility to open doors that many once thought were sealed shut. If you cannot afford to pay for treatment, but you have the courage and the will to go seek help, we are here to provide a way.

Our Commitment

Our mission is to provide resources for best-practice mental illness and/or chronic pain treatment that focuses on the whole person, including mental and social factors, not only symptom management.

We serve Chattanooga, TN and the surrounding area with a focus on veterans, law enforcement officers, first responders, frontline workers, and economically disadvantaged individuals.

Our vision is to reduce barriers associated with treatment of mental and physical health and to increase the effectiveness of treatment through research-based methodology.
